1. What cookies are
Cookies are small pieces of information stored on or accessed from a user's device when a website is used. Similar technologies may include browser storage, pixels or other identifiers used to provide technical functionality, remember choices, measure use or support embedded services.
2. Legal framework
The Foundation provides information and obtains consent for storing information on, or accessing information from, a user's terminal device where consent is required by applicable law, including the Polish Electronic Communications Law. Data processing connected with such technologies is also subject to the GDPR where personal data is involved.
3. Technologies used on this website
The current website is designed to operate without optional advertising or behavioural-tracking cookies. Necessary technical technologies may be used to deliver the website, protect it against abuse, maintain security and enable essential functionality.
The Foundation offers optional Google Analytics 4 statistics (measurement ID G-CNN6VVJ8SJ), but Google tracking scripts load only after the visitor selects “Allow statistics”. With consent, Google Analytics may use cookies such as _ga and _ga_* to measure visits, visited pages, traffic sources and technical device information. Advertising or ad personalization is not enabled as part of this integration. Refusing analytics does not restrict access to the website.
4. Payment provider
When online donations are enabled, clicking the donation payment button may redirect the user to a secure payment page operated by the payment provider. That provider may use cookies or similar technologies on its own domain for security, payment processing and fraud prevention. Its own privacy and cookie information will apply to that payment environment.
5. Necessary cookies
Necessary cookies or equivalent technologies may be used where required for security, network management, session handling, accessibility or another function specifically requested by the user. These technologies are not used to build advertising profiles.
6. Managing cookies
Browser settings allow users to delete stored cookies and, depending on the browser, block all or selected categories. Blocking strictly necessary technologies may cause parts of the website to work incorrectly.
You may accept or reject optional statistics equally easily and change or withdraw your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” control. Your choice is stored locally in your browser. Following withdrawal, the website attempts to delete its Google Analytics cookies and reloads without analytics; cookies may also be cleared from browser settings.
7. Server logs
Independent of cookies, the hosting infrastructure may create technical logs containing information such as IP address, request time, browser information and requested resources. Logs are used for security, diagnostics and reliable operation of the website.
8. Updates
This policy will be reviewed when the website's technology stack changes. The current version and date are published on this page.
